Phillip R. Shaw joined Francis Injury in 2020 and has since become a key force in the firm’s personal injury litigation team. With over two decades of courtroom experience, Mr. Shaw represents clients in serious injury and wrongful death cases across Texas and beyond—bringing a reputation for thorough preparation, persuasive advocacy, and an unwavering commitment to justice.
Mr. Shaw earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Utah State University in 2000 and his Juris Doctor from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 2004. Early in his career, he gained invaluable trial and negotiation experience representing injured individuals and families in both state and federal courts, building a record of successful results in complex car, truck, and commercial vehicle cases.

A dedicated professional and respected member of the legal community, Mr. Shaw is active in the J. Reuben Clark Law Society and is licensed to practice law in Texas, California, and Utah, as well as in the United States District Courts for the Northern District of Texas, the Central and Southern Districts of California, and the District of Utah.
Fluent in Spanish, Mr. Shaw is uniquely positioned to serve the firm’s growing base of bilingual clients throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth area and across the state of Texas. His ability to communicate directly with Spanish-speaking clients ensures that every case is handled with understanding, precision, and trust.

The claims against the trucking company were settled in less than seventy-five days from the date of the collision. After fees, expenses and the repayment of medical liens and bills, our clients recovered $512,722.85.
